03The shop

A family studio, not an agency.

Bravely Studios is run by Jeff and Katy Schiesser out of Kansas. Jeff is a tech executive turned indie app developer. Katy co-founded the studio. Two founders, one shop, no layers between you and the people doing the work.

We build for ourselves first, so we know what ships. We run our own products with our own money, which means every quality decision is one we pay for personally. That habit doesn’t switch off when the work is yours.

Client projects go through the same pipeline as our apps, with the same hands on the tools. We also host the Build Horizons podcast, so you can hear how we think before you ever book a call.

RFI stands for request for information. On a job site, it’s how you ask before you build. Same idea here.

Who is this for?

Business owners who want the brand done properly. Some are starting from zero and need the whole thing drawn up. Others have a working business whose look no longer matches the quality of the work. Both are our people. If you want a cheap logo by Friday, we’re the wrong shop, and that’s fine.

What happens on the free consultation?

A real conversation, not a pitch. We talk through the idea, the name, the design, and where it all lives, in plain language. You leave with a clearer picture of your brand either way. If we’re a fit, we’ll say so. If we’re not, we’ll say that too.
